Ms. Bridget A. van Kralingen has been Senior Vice President of IBM Industry Platforms at International Business Machines Corporation since August 2016. Ms. van Kralingen served as Head of Industry Platforms Business Unit at International Business Machines Corporation since August 2016 to December 30, 2016 and also served as its Senior Vice President. Ms. van Kralingen served as the Senior Vice President of IBM Global Business Services at International Business Machines Corporation from January 1, 2012 to August 2016. Ms. van Kralingen served as a Managing Partner of Global Business Services - IBM Northeast Europe at IBM Business Consulting Services, Inc. She served as the Head of Consulting at International Business Machines Corporation since January 1, 2012. She served as General Manager of North America at IBM Corporation and was responsible for strategy, execution, business results and client satisfaction for the full range of IBM's business in Canada and the United States. She was a Managing Partner of Deloitte Consulting, where she served in the Financial Services practice in the U.S. and the Strategy and Organizational Development practice in South Africa. Prior to this role, she led the GBS Financial Services Sector. She has more than 20 years consulting experience. She serves as a Member of Board of Advisors at Catalyst Inc. Ms. van Kralingen has been an Independent Director of Royal Bank of Canada since June 17, 2011. For the past three years, she was named to Fortune's "50 Most Powerful Women in Business" list. She was named by Euromoney magazine as one of the 100 most influential people in Finance in 2005 and one of Consulting Magazine's Top 25 Consultants for 2006. She is a trained psychologist and began her career as a researcher at the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. She holds a Masters of Commerce degree from the University of South Africa and Bachelors of Commerce degree from the University of Witwatersrand.
